- The stairs are made from high-elasticity sponge and may compress during shipping then rebound. Expect a dimension change of about 1.2–1.6 in after unpacking; manual measurement can vary by about 0.4–1.2 in.
- If your dog is between sizes, choose the higher step count for a gentler rise and easier climbing.
How to measure to pick the right size
- Measure the height from the floor to the top of the mattress/cushion where your dog will step (furniture height).
- Weigh your dog and note breed/age — use the "Best for" column above to find the closest match.
- Confirm the furniture height fits the recommended range for the chosen step count. The top step should come close to the furniture surface (within ~1–2 in) so your dog has a short final step up.
- Consider mobility: for arthritic or very old dogs, pick the size with more steps (gentler, lower rises) even if they are near the upper weight range.

How quickly do you respond to inquiries?
We respond to messages and emails in the order they are received and reply within 24 hours on business days.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Orders enter processing the same business day (cut-off 7:00 PM ET), so please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at support@dogbedhouse.com with your name, order number and the corrected address.
We'll do our best to update it before dispatch, but address changes cannot be guaranteed once the order has left our warehouse.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes — orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of being placed. Email support@dogbedhouse.com with your name and order number and we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
After 24 hours, your order has entered fulfilment and can no longer be cancelled, but you can still return it under our 30-day Refund Policy once it arrives.
How long is the processing time?
We aim to process and prepare all orders within 1–5 business days. Orders placed before 7:00 PM Eastern Time go into processing the same business day.
Many orders are processed sooner, but during busy periods such as promotions, holidays, or peak seasons, additional processing time may be required.

Our fulfillment team operates Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
Once your order has been processed, shipping typically takes 1–5 business days.
The total estimated delivery time is therefore usually 2–10 business days.
Will my entire order arrive in one package?
Depending on inventory availability and warehouse locations, your order may arrive in multiple packages.
If this occurs, packages may arrive 1–2 days apart.
What happens if an item is out of stock?
If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will notify you via email.
If the product is not expected to become available within two weeks, a full refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method.
I received a damaged item. What should I do?
We sincerely apologize if your order did not arrive in perfect condition.
Please contact us within 30 days of delivery at support@dogbedhouse.com with your name, order number, and photographs of the damaged item, the packaging, and the shipping label. We will cover the return shipping and send you a replacement or a full refund.

My tracking number is not working. What does that mean?
Tracking information may take up to 24–72 hours after shipment to become active.

What condition must returned items be in?
All returned products must be unused, clean, in their original condition, and returned in the original packaging. For hygiene reasons, beds that have been used by a pet cannot be returned unless they are defective.
